Interview with a desert field scientist

In this interview text for year 4 and P5, linking to the topics living things and habitats and biodiversity and interdependence, Mindi Lehew explains how she works in a desert for the US Forest Service. She explains the differences between the Mojave desert and the Sonoran desert and what vegetation lives there. During wildfire season, Mindi assists the emergency response team.
