This interview text for year 2 and P3, linking with the topic animals including humans and Body system and cells, explains exactly how Amy DeJong uses science to make sweets. It explains she is trying to learn how different types and amounts of sweetener and different processing conditions, like temperature or mixing, affects the texture of the sweets.
