Interview with an engineer who makes fake earthquakes
In this interview for year 3 and year 4, Gopal Madabhushi explains what geotechnical engineering is. Earthquakes can cause serious damage to buildings. Gopal’s job is to investigate how and why this happens so that we can keep people safe during this type of natural disaster. He explains what inspired him to become a geotechnical engineer, what special equipment he uses and the best thing about his job.
