Welcome to HOOPLA! - our sister publication for 4 to 9 year olds.
Discover how small actions can make a big difference in Hoopla Issue 24: What a Load of Rubbish!
This fun children's magazine is packed with creative crafts, outdoor adventures and hands-on activities for children aged 4-9. Throughout the magazine, young readers discover simple ways to reduce waste, reuse everyday items and recycle more at home.
Children can turn an old plastic bottle into a colourful tropical fish, cook a tasty lunch using leftovers and head outside for a litter-picking adventure. They'll also enjoy puzzles, riddles, colouring, journalling and a true story about an inspiring ocean clean-up.
Next, curious minds can investigate a mini landfill experiment and discover what happens to rubbish after we throw it away. They'll also learn about the three Rs; reduce, reuse and recycle, and explore how plastic affects our oceans. Along the way, they'll meet people who are helping to clean up beaches and seas around the world.
Meanwhile, children can discover clever ways to help the planet every day. For example, they can swap books and toys, reuse everyday items and make thoughtful choices that reduce waste.
Plus, there's plenty to enjoy away from screens. Children can solve puzzles, read stories, complete fun challenges and enjoy creative projects whether they're at home or outdoors. As a result, every activity helps build curiosity, creativity and confidence while encouraging children to care for the world around them.
Finally, Hoopla is perfect for families who love screen-free activities, outdoor play, crafts and learning together. It's an ideal magazine for curious children aged 4-9.
